Movie was excellent but I'm not deaf and didn't need it so loud. I think the walls were vibrating. Left with a horrible headache. Drink, popcorn, movie 20 some dollars. Not many people in seats. If they brought prices to reasonable more people would come and they would make more money. Poor business planning
This place is definitely a classic. I think they haven't done any updating since the 80s. Really surprised that AMC would have a place out here like this!!! Friendly service delicious popcorn but definitely outdated!!!!
Took my family on Vacation to Holiday Inn Resorts in Sheridan, IL. Kids wanted to see a movie and as a loyal AMC stub member this was the closest to the resort. I didn't know what to think when we arrived because the exterior appeared to me as an old warehouse. Once inside it was definitely a classic movie theater experience. Theater was clean and staff was friendly.
Cons: The air in the theatre was humid and smelled like urine, or maybe it was the smell of a guinea pig's cage. The popcorn was stale.Pros: The staff was nice and the tickets were cheap.
Took my daughter for a quick movie before the start of school and Im extremely disappointed by this horrible theater! We usually drive the 20 miles to Yorkville to NCG Cinema because its literally worth the drive! Morris has become a joke, its dirty, it smells of urine, and I just paid $5.00 per ticket to turn around and be charged $15 for one regular popcorn and one regular drink! I asked for the $9.99 annual bucket and conveniently, theyre sold out! This will be the last time I ever come to this place! Ive not been here in two years, thinking it changed, it has not!
